Testing & Validation

Cleanrooms play critical roles in maintaining contamination free production environments for critical processes. A well-executed cleanroom testing and certification program is essential. It is required for proper cleanroom maintenance, operation, and regulatory compliance. In accordance with ISO 14644, IEST RP CC006 and NEBB certified cleanroom performance testing guidelines. Century Mechanical Systems Factory (CMS) provides comprehensive cleanroom testing and certification services.

PRIMARY TESTS

AIR VELOCITY TEST / AIR FLOW TEST/ AIR CHANGE RATE CALCULATION

PRIMARY TESTS:

  • To evaluate airflow velocity and supply air volume in unidirectional and non-unidirectional clean room/zone &
  • To calculate the number of air changes per hour.

HEPA LEAK TEST

PRIMARY TESTS:

  • Covers the installed filters system leak testing by Aerosol/Photometer challenge Method and Aerosol total penetration method in occupancy state “As Built & At Rest”.

AIRBORNE PARTICLE COUNT TEST

PRIMARY TESTS:

  • Covers the Air Borne Particle Count test in clean room/zone at Occupancy state “as-built, at-rest or in-operation”.

ROOM DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TEST

PRIMARY TESTS:

  • To estimate the pressure difference across clean rooms

SECONDARY TESTS

AIR VELOCITY TEST / AIR FLOW TEST/ AIR CHANGE RATE CALCULATION

SECONDARY TESTS:

  • To demonstrate the actual airflow pattern throughout the work zone of the clean room
  •  Covers the Air flow pattern testing of clean room or space at occupancy state of “As Built”, “At Rest” & “In Operation”

TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY MEASUREMENT TEST

SECONDARY TESTS:

  • To demonstrate the capability of the installations air handling system to maintain the temperature and humidity level within control limits and over the time period between customer & suppliers.
  •  Covers the General temperature & humidity test of an installation in the “As Built” condition & Comprehensive temperature & humidity test for clean room for “At Rest” & “In Operation” state

SOUND LEVEL TEST

SECONDARY TESTS:

  •  To measure & validate the permissible levels of sound in clean rooms

LIGHT INTENSITY TEST

SECONDARY TESTS:

  • To measure & validate the intensity of light in clean rooms

RECOVERY TEST

SECONDARY TESTS:

  • To determine the amount of time necessary for non-unidirectional clean rooms or clean spaces and its systems to reach a specified steady state of cleanliness level after a system shutdown or power failure following start up.
  •  Covers the recovery testing for non-unidirectional clean rooms

INDOOR AIRQUALITY TEST

SECONDARY TESTS:

  • Testing for maximum indoor pollutant concentrations for acceptance of cleanroom facility

MICROBIAL SWAB TEST

SECONDARY TESTS:

  • Tests for analysing & counting the total number of aerobic bacteria, yeasts and molds present in any cleanroom surface.
